We have all heard the saying, "money isn't everything". While many of us teachers hold that saying to be true (let's face it, our salary won't get us on the Forbes list of richest people), we can still appreciate some good teacher discounts, right?

Many companies recognize that teachers spend a lot of their own time and money on classroom supplies. Did you know that many retailers and service companies offer special discounts just for teachers? Most teachers don't! We believe that teachers work hard enough in the classroom - you shouldn't need to work hard at finding discounts. With that said, we have made a list for you.

Please keep in mind that most of these discounts will require proof of valid school identification or proof of certification. Although most discounts will be given with proof of a valid school ID card, some may even require a membership to a teacher union or the NEA (National Education Association). Others may ask for an International Teacher Identity Card (ITIC).
